Our Climate Change Policy
As IMECAR ELEKTRONİK, for the protection of the global natural balance, reduction of carbon footprint and a more livable world; while performing all our production, services and other works, we undertake and declare to fulfill the following basic principles required to reduce the effects causing climate change and to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the works.
- Our company will carry out its activities based on scientific methods with the participation of all stakeholders in the fight against climate change, taking into account environmental, sociological, economic, technological, and financial elements.
- Our company will also conduct its activities within the framework of determining policies and strategies, adapting to climate change, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
- Strategies related to Climate Change will be prepared, monitoring mechanisms will be established for all processes, and actions will be regularly monitored.
- The requirements determined by the laws, regulations, circulars, and relevant legal legislation of the Republic of Turkey, as well as the obligations arising from international agreements, will be fulfilled; requirements related to climate change and carbon footprint reduction arising from responsibilities toward internal and external stakeholders will be met, and compatible activities will be carried out.
- Within the scope of all established ISO management systems within our company, Climate Change-related issues will be analyzed, integrated into business processes and procedures, and compliance with relevant requirements will be ensured.
- Studies will be carried out to reduce energy consumption and energy usage within our company.
- Climate change-related risks will be assessed, and identified risks will be reduced to acceptable levels.
- Training programs aimed at increasing climate change awareness and encouraging contribution to the effective operation of the system will be provided regularly to all employees, and when necessary, to suppliers and third-party stakeholders.
- All actual or suspected activities contrary to climate change prevention principles will be reported, and preventive measures will be taken to avoid recurrence.
- With the philosophy of a more livable world, necessary resources will be provided to reduce the impacts of climate change, take required actions and precautions, and to implement, maintain, and continuously improve these efforts.
